Families
Families are of course very welcome. However please keep in mind the lack of barriers between the site and the water and therefore we don’t feel The Lakes is suitable for children below the age of 5 or for those children who can’t swim.
Wilderness Wonders
- Hot tub x 1 (pre booking essential- Hire for £30 a night)
- Kitchen al fresco: Our shared outdoor kitchen provides a gas plancha hotplate, sink, food prep table, wood fired pizza oven, 2 x Kadai fire bowls (serve as BBQs) and electric sockets.
- Glamper hampers: Treat yourself to our delicious dining experience available to purchase either cooked breakfast, continental breakfast and/or pizza kits.
Water Activities
The Surf Shack is stocked with cool boxes, buoyancy aids and our very own hybrid paddleboards.
There is no additional charge for use of our water sports equipment. We do, however, require guests to complete a disclaimer on arrival for insurance purposes.
What you need to bring
Say goodbye to packing headaches because all you need are some sensible shoes, your favourite clothes, and the food you love. Think of it like packing for a hotel stay – easy and hassle-free. Curious about what we provide? From cosy bedding to cooking areas, we’ve got you covered. Plus, depending on your chosen location, there are well-equipped social spaces for mingling and relaxing. Oh, and just a heads up – if you opt for a lakeside retreat, remember to bring your own towels. But do not worry… once you book, you will be sent all the information needed to best prep for your stay.
